Thanks for All of Your Support!

Unfortunately we came in third in a two seat race. I want to thank the incredible volunteer and financial support I received from so many people. I especially want to thank Anna Schiefelbein, my campaign manager. I also want to thank my fiancee Sandy Lezon. Without her support I could never have taken on this effort. I finally want to thank the Warrenville Park District residents. It was an honor to serve you the last eight years!

Important Deadlines up until the Final Certification of the Vote

Thursday April 4, 2019 is the deadline for the DuPage County Clerk to post the number of ballots that remain uncounted. We will have to wait until then to know if mathematically we still have a chance to win without considering petitioning for a discovery recount.

Tuesday April 16, 2019 is the deadline for all provisional and mail-in ballots to be counted.

Tuesday April 23, 2019 is the deadline for the county clerk to canvass the election results (i.e, finish counting all the votes).

Tuesday April 23, 2019 is also the deadline to do a re-tabulation of 5% of the precincts and 5% of early voting devices.

Sunday April 28th, 2019 is the last day for a candidate who came within 5% of the winning candidate to file a petition for discovery recount.

To view the details regarding these deadlines see pages 44 – 46 of the 2019 Illinois Election Calendar.
